The company STUDY GATE was founded in 2024. One of its goals was to create a platform to support and guide Czech students who want to study in the United States. Since we have gone through the entire cycle of education in the USA ourselves, we understand how it works, but we also know the unique challenges  that international students must face. Thanks to this, STUDY GATE can professionally help you not only with the complex admission process to universities but also with all the necessities upon arrival in the USA.

Gateway to Study in the USA - Adam and Ondra

Adam

I studied at Charles University in Prague and then continued my master's studies at Queens University of Charlotte, where I obtained a sports scholarship (triathlon). After completing my master's program in communication, I decided to pursue an MBA program. Currently, I work for the school and collaborate with several non-profit organizations in North Carolina.

My journey began when I decided to study in the United States. I wrote to hundreds of schools and coaches to discuss options for a triathlon scholarship, academic scholarship, and internships. Based on various criteria, including the quality of the academic field and the school's location, I chose Queens University of Charlotte in North Carolina.

Studying in the USA is not just for elite athletes aiming for the Olympics. It is also a great opportunity to combine study and sports at a high level. The American university league is often home to Olympians and Paralympians from around the world, and support for university sports is widespread!

Athletes are taken care of, but what about academics? Here, Study Gate aims to break through the gate and expand the possibilities for financing studies in the USA. There are academic scholarships, internships, graduate assistantships, volunteering, and many other opportunities awaiting students in the United States. Additionally, there are numerous opportunities to work for world-renowned companies or actively participate in the university's operation.

Ondra

My journey to the Study Gate project began at the university in Liberec, where, in addition to developing my academic skills, I also pursued my passion for sports. And it was through sports, specifically triathlon, that I first set foot in the USA. Here, I had the opportunity to peek "under the hood" not only of youth sports development but I also got in touch with the educational system of the United States. As I was already involved in the development of both school and extracurricular activities, particularly in elementary schools, during my university years, the topic of education is quite close to me.

The Study Gate project was a clear choice for me to build upon my previous endeavors and help Czech students broaden their educational horizons.

My personal goal is to actively seek out new opportunities for young promising athletes and academics. Therefore, I know that at Study Gate, we will always do our best to help you fulfill your potential.
